Latin Heritage Month runs from September 15th – October 15th. It is the perfect chance to celebrate the contributions of Hispanic Americans and celebrate Latinx culture in general. Be on the lookout next week and the weeks to come for some fun trivia, advisory competition, music and a celebration for the LatinX culture!
School Supply - Headphones and Earbuds For Class
Since students' schoolwork is on computers, they frequently need to listen to video or audio files through headphones or earbuds. Please purchase an inexpensive pair and ensure your student is bringing these to school. Headphones that use Bluetooth to connect may not work on Yes Prep student computers. Students do not need a fancy pair. These can be purchased inexpensively online or at a general store.
Student Absences and Covid Notification
Parents, it is extremely important that you notify the school when your student is out for an extended period of time either because they have tested positive for Covid-19 or is experiencing symptoms.
It is our duty to notify any students who are close contacts to anyone who tests positive for Covid and we can not do so effectively if we are not notified of your child's diagnosis.
For attendance purposes, please remember to send an excuse note after your student has been absent.

Family Engagement & Involvement
A goal of ours this year is to create our very first parent organization group. This group will consist of parents/guardians who are willing to work with us to ultimately improve our campus. We will create an environment where joy is the moving factor at our campus for students, staff, and families.
