  • Trunk or Treat - Monday, October 31st
  • Basketball Tryouts - 10/31-11/2 from 4:00-6:00 PM

On 10/31 we are encouraging students and staff to wear fun costumes to bring joy on Halloween. Please follow the requirements below to ensure that we are meeting dress code expectations. Students who do not meet this expectations will be pulled and given a new change of clothes. Have fun!

  • Blow up costumes are not encouraged. While students may wear them, they will not be allowed to be blown up during school as it causes a distraction to teaching and learning.

  • The normal school dress code will be enforced. As is typical, we will not allow male or female students to wear low cut tops, bare midriffs, and/or tank tops.

  • NO spandex is to be worn without anything over it. NO clothing that has holes in it may be worn without anything under it.

  • NO masks or other face coverings (excluding partial face paint) will be allowed.

  • Nothing is to be brought to school that has a possibility of staining (dye, make-up, face paint, hair color spray, etc.), but these things may be worn if put on at home.

  • NO “look-alike” or fake weapons are allowed in any manner.

  • Costumes containing sexual innuendos, or those promoting alcohol, drugs, violence, or anything construed to be offensive in nature, will not be allowed.

  • For their own safety, students should avoid wearing costumes that drag on the floor.

  • Roller blades, skates, scooters, skateboards or any other type of propelling equipment is not allowed.

  • Hats and sweatshirt hoods may be worn that day, provided they can be identified as part of the costume only.

Teachers retain every right to ask them to be removed in class and/or during learning.
